Established in 1999, Global Security Services, Ltd. (GSS) is a leading private security, private investigation, and electronic security agency whose collective expertise enables us to provide all of the security services a government, organization, or private citizen may need to address sensitive, complex issues or concerns. Founded in Davenport , Iowa Global Security Services' management and communication center operates from its 19,000 sqft. facility and serves as the nerve center for all global operations.

Brad Utter attended Saint Ambrose University for a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice. His experience includes more than 10 years of high risk armed security services and serves as our President and Director of Operations. He served as a Police Officer in Clarence, Iowa for nearly 6 years and maintains close ties to the law enforcement community. His training over the years encompasses a  variety of topics that includes but is not limited to  Criminal Investigation, W-Z Reid Method of Criminal Interview and Interrogation, Midwest Counterdrug Training Centers - High Risk Event Planning, Level 1 and 2, Middwest Counterdrug Traningin Centers - Electronic Surveillance School and Physical Surveillance School, Anti-Terrorism for Law Enforcement, Community Emergency Response, and numerous  other law enforcement and security subject matter.

Scott Utter graduated from Saint Ambrose University with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice. His experience includes more than 10 years of  high risk armed security and is our Vice President and NRA Certified Law Enforcement Firearms instructor; Oleoresin Capsicum and Expandable Police Baton instructor for Global Security Services, Ltd.. Scott is a state certified firearms instructor for Iowa , Illinois , and Wisconsin . For nearly 6 years, Scott also served as a Police Officer in Clarence, Iowa  .

Scott's training over the years also includes Criminal Investigation, W-Z Reid Method of Criminal Interview and Interrogation, Midwest Counterdrug Training Centers - High Risk Event Planning, Level 1 and 2, Anti-Terrorism for Law Enforcement, Community Emergency Response, Animal Abuse Investigation as well as numerous other law enforcement and security subject matters.
